So what's up Contextual Studies. I literally have never heard of this and I have zero ideas what is this subject about. So to start things up, Mr. Charles a.k.a my lecturer briefly explained what is the whole 'Contextual Studies' is about. He gave us a short lecture and told us that what is he and rest of the lecturers are expecting from us for each of our assignments.

Long story short, what on earth is Contextual Studies? Basically, Contextual Studies is us researching what we are currently doing in art, seeing how other artists have approached the same thing, both contemporary and older artists.

In my first lesson of Contextual Studies, Mr Charles also briefly talked about our first assignment which is about movies and art movements so that we can research on what type and what movies are we going to write about for our first assignment. Anyways, that's all for my first lesson, stay tuned for more :)
