Lecture 4: Visual Language
For this week's lecture, we were introduced to a new topic called visual language. To start things up, Mr Choy introduced us to a French philosopher called Roland Barthes.

After this visual language lesson, we learned that Visual Language is actually to advertise by communicating positive qualities of a product as clear as possible to the targeted audience.

As you guys can see from the posters above, those posters are heavily influenced by visual langauge. The whole point of those posters are to indicate the power and the status of women around the world during Women's March.
